The Hosta Sum and Substance, 'Hosta', has large, rounded leaves with heavy puckering. This Hosta is slug resistant and a vigorous grower. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, HostaŻs are not known for their flowers. ęSum and SubstanceŻ was named Hosta of the Year in 2004, and one can see why. The flowers are on 50ö scapes, making it one of a kind. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscapeplants. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
