The Hosta Blue Angel, Hosta 'Blue Angel', has huge, heart-shaped blue-grey leaves and tall stems producing cream colored flowers. The cream flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in mid-summer, however, hosta's are not known for their flowers. Hosta's provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Blue Angel is no exception. Blue Angel needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot and has excellent slug resistance. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
